"You know, here in Colombia, just like other hardcore subgenres, powerviolence has had its ups and downs. In fact, it really is easy to count with your hands' fingers how many bands are currently playing like that. So, Mangual, featuring members of Reacción Al Silencio, listened to our prays and deliver us an overwhelming sound paying homage to the classic 90s powerviolence style of Infest, Crossed Out and No Comment, for naming a few, mixed with modern hardcore traits. Indeed, there's the iconic slow sludgy-paced overwhelming breakdowns and fast as fuck blast beats mix performed in the same vein as current outfits like ACXDC or Sex Prisoner (USA). The lyrics also have political content dealing with issues such as private property, earth liberation, academic despotism, some references to colombian inner conflict, capitalism and much more. Now you can blast your stereo with this marvelous tape containing an unparalleled music attack like no other in the birthplace of Shakira. You cannot miss this band out and you definitely should add it to your best picks of 2021 list. We will certainly do so. If you thought powerviolence was dead, you're wrong. Highly recommended"

Not sure if it was the intention but to these ears this sounds like an American version of classic Finnish hardcore (e.g. Kaaos)...All the components are here: reverby vokills, buzzsaw guitars, and wild drums.
